Harvesting in due season -Galatians 6:9

Taken from my bible revelation from this verse Galatians 6:9.

In the Amplified version, "Don't become weary" = don't lose heart and grow weary and faint. For in due time, at the appointed season, we shall reap. (AMPC).

Weariness, the feeling of being weary, starts from the heart. Sometimes we lose hope, especially when the waiting process seems very long. That's why the bible says, don't lose hope, don't give up.

Think back to the story of Abraham in Genesis 15:5 where God made a promise to Abraham, promising him that he shall be a father of many nations and that God will make him exceedingly fruitful. But there was also a season of waiting for Abraham before Issac was born. Abraham was 100 years old when his son Issac was born. (Genesis 21:5) Abraham waited ten years.

I honestly think it takes great courage to continue holding on. To hold on with that unwavering attitude. To keep persevering despite the odds. Perhaps that's why this verse is written in the bible to encourage us to hold on, hold on a little longer.

I like the passion translation; "for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you've planted is coming."

There is a season for everything, seasons for sowing, and seasons for harvest, including breakthroughs. And in the passion translation, it says that that season is coming.

For me, this is a personal encouragement from God. A timely reminder not to lose hope but to hold on, to hold on a little longer. Our season of reaping (harvest) is coming very soon.

If you are going through a weary season of waiting, I would like to encourage you to hold on a little longer. Don't give up yet your harvest season is coming soon.

Praying that whatever you are holding on and waiting for, I pray that the Lord would give you the courage and perseverance to continue holding on, to find joy even in the waiting season. For the joy of the Lord is our strength.
